Roses are Red . . .

Are those roses fair trade? How far did they travel? Are they grown organically, sustainably responsibly? If you don’t have a honey to send you flowers (or are unlikely to get them from your own honey), send yourself your favorite flowers!
Buy ‘green’ roses from Colombian Florverde growers (not local, but for a good cause).

Eat Sexy Food . . .

Food can be such a sensual experience and there are many foods that seem to be designed by nature to enhance a sexy foodie feast. Read this fun post by GD Gina about aphrodisiac foods and listen to this Green Divas Eco-Sexy podcast where Brigitte Mars talks about foods for sexual health . . .

Keep it Local . . .

Really. Stay Home. Send the Kids out and stay home and make a romantic candle-lit dinner (soy candles, of course) at home. Visit your local markets and buy some sexy food (see above). If you are normally home alone, don’t wallow in self pity, indulge in super self-pampering behavior or take yourself out to the movies or to the bookstore.
