It’s National Arbor Day today and aside from the obvious you may be wondering what exactly does that mean. Well, it means that today is a holiday in which individuals and groups are encouraged to plant and care for trees. Trees give us oxygen and quality of life by cleaning our air, providing a safe haven for our animals and giving us resources to build things. Just as trees work to clean air, trees also aid in providing cleaner drinking water by providing a natural filter for water supplies that originate in mountains and waterways.
