A free “Organic Gardening” workshop will take place Saturday, June 24, near Marshall.

Sponsored by Virginia Cooperative Extension and Fauquier County Master Gardeners, the program will start at 1 p.m. at the Schoolhouse 18 Demonstration Gardens on John Marshall Highway east of the village.

The workshop will focus on “principles of organic gardening that will fortify your garden against summer’s foes.”
