GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Palisade Sunday Farmers Market kicked off its 13th year today with it’s opening day.

People from the area as well as visitors came out for the food, shopping, live music, and even arts and crafts.

Although many things remain the same, this year the Palisade Farmers Market will now be opening an hour earlier, with hours from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“We’re really just trying to beat the heat. When you’re looking at mid 90’s or high 90’s, produce tends to go a little bad after awhile.” said Michelle Gossage, Palisade Sunday Farmers Market Coordinator.

However, these aren’t the only changes visitors can expect…
