Skokie‘s popular Farmers Market will kick off June 11 and run every Sunday through Nov. 5 in the parking lot of Skokie Village Hall, officials announced.
The market will offer a plethora of locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables as well as baked goods, cheeses and items from various other vendors, according to market organizers.
Village officials said they have always thought of the market as more than just a shopping venue, but a community gathering place and a sure sign that summer in Skokie has begun.
